As a young entrepreneur starting off on his own, Mark DeLorenzo only knew one thing: Mini Dirtbikes need to go faster. Using his connections with machine shops he designed and developed a series of products for this small, segmented market. The company started small but rapidly built as word spread about the hand-crafted and machined items. American Horsepower was moving and needed a brand identity to take it to the next level.
Vigor researched the mini, 50 CC motrocycle market and began exploring graphical elements to depict American Horsepower. We crafted a strong logo and identity system for the company to build the foundation of the brand. A color palette of red-orange and black were developed to depict the aggressive nature of thrill seekers.
As part of driving marketing and sales efforts, we developed a small but powerful brochure to promote his unique engines and helped design AHP's trade advertising. Both pieces served to build the brand and awareness of the company and its products.
In conjunction with basic business and brand consulting, we helped direct and mold American Horsepower's image through a number of media avenues. The company continues to grow and has just launched a new catalog. They constantly update their site and track conversions thoroughly. Through the help of Vigor, the American Horsepower brand has become an niched name and identity.
