Fiat Advertisement

About a year ago we ranted about Fiat's new logo being off the mark. After having ridden in one while in Italy last October, I loved these little cars.

This morning I received a lovely little email from my Uncle who loves to send lovely little emails. In this edition, he posted a gem of an ad for this Italian car company. I post for your enjoyment.

Simpsons Take Over Seven Eleven

Who hasn't watched the Simpsons? I mean really. It's America's favorite degenerate family. To promote their upcoming movie, Seven Eleven's will be temporarily rebranded as Kwik-E-Marts.

You Can't Polish A Turd

I picked this up over a JaffeJuice, the blog for the insightful Joseph Jaffe. It's in regards to a piece via Business 2.0/CNN Money, which dissects the failure of ESPN Mobile - Disney pulled the plug on this venture after just 8 months. Why? Because you can't polish a turd.

ESPN Mobile is pulled after 8 months.

Sieg Hellish Name

Naming is a tricky business that isn't often given enough attention. Most of the names we interact with daily are the product of talented word-jockeys who love the creation and melding of phonics. Getting a good name isn't easy. Getting a bad one is. For instance, a new restaurant has just opened in Bombay, India touting cuisine like pizzas and salads. It is aptly named Hitler's Cross.
