Every week I travel to New York to better service our clients here in the Big Apple. I take Amtrak' Keystone service every time. The train gives me over three hours of unadulterated free time to write proposals, read up on branding or .... sleep. It's the perfect situation for me to gain knowledge while traveling. (That's for your Jason.)
Anyway, these last couple months have proven a bit trying to say the least. First it was a crabby conductor, followed by a breakdown of the train and finally, yesterday, we saw huge delays that resulted in a 3.5 hour trip turning into a 5 hour trip. Excrutiating. What's worse is they kept repeating what sounded like a satirical tagline: "Remember, although we're running, at least we are running." No joke.
What's this have to do with branding?
