When an expert chef contacts you about his new venture, you cant' help but be flattered and super charged about the opportunity. Spearheading an urban revival in Roanoke, VA, 202 Market was on the threshold of being Roanoke's premier nightlife experience. Vigor was tasked with building a brand and buzz that articulated the expert cuisine.

Challenge

A renowned chef was poised to start fresh in a semi-sleepy town in central Virginia. Despite being off the beaten path, Roanoke was in for an experience unlike any other. Chef Chad Scott contacted Vigor to handle the important task of building his new restaurant experience into the iconoclast it had to be. Vigor obliged.

The initial challenge was staffing and building buzz. Once opened, Vigor was challenged with steadily increasing traffic while helping to reduce overhead.

Solution

Vigor's solution to the multi-faceted challenges posed by 202 Market was an integrated approach.

First, Vigor immediately reduced superfluous funds allotted for traditional medias like billboards and print advertising. With the newly freed funds, Vigor was able to craft message and the proper medias for delivery to quickly staff the location and start the phone ringing.

With healthy publicity, advertising and marketing, Vigor was able to accomplish all goals set forth at the beginning of the relationship.

Results
