A distinctive brand

When a zealous developer has a dream of converting nostalgic, outdated resorts into multi-million dollar getaway homes distinctive architecture is just the beginning. "Distinctive" had to become more than the name of the company. It needed to be a part of every facet.

Challenge

Distinctive Ventures said jump and we didn't bother to ask how high, we just started jumping towards building a brand based on the research supplied. We knew we were up against an insane deadline fueled by a board of directors who expected the brand to be completed months before we started. Our response? "Bring it on!" Vigor needed to create a brand identity that mixed conservative, contemporary and a feeling of relaxation and luxury. This was the focus for all the pieces created as is the focus of every property Distinctive Ventures owns and builds.

Solution

Vigor's solution was by sticking to what we knew: clean, crisp, chic, good creative. That's what we supplied with the brand that began with a logo that created an instantaneous brand expectation. The logo's strength carried throughout the rest of the brand identity elements including property brochures, sales kits, advertisements, marketing materials and into vehicle livery and directional signage.

The Distinctive Ventures website was the crest of the brand wave. It features animations, slideshows, video, blogs and much more. A truly distinctive experience for a truly distinctive brand.

Results

With materials in hand at the caliber in which they were delivered, the board was beyond pleased. The sales staff immediately used their new marketing tools to build buzz, get attention and close sales. The flagship resort and residences, Panoramic View, became host to Traditional Homes magazine's design challenge which brought thousands of visitors to the location and the website.
