Replenishing a Brand
The sports drink industry is saturated with goliaths like Gatorade, powerade and vitamin-infused waters. Breaking into the market with a superior product isn't easy. With the help of a well-respected advertising agency and some internet-savvy from Vigor, Ultima Replenisher had a sporting chance to take a sip from the big names.
Challenge
Vigor was challenged with designing and developing a website that spoke to four distinct markets while decreasing the time it takes to checkout and convert to a sale.
Ultima Replenisher's formulas were much better for patients of Krohn's and other gastrointestinal diseases, children with parents who wanted to fight childhood obesity, fitness and body gurus, and, of course, sports fanatics the world over.
Solution
In conjunction with Seiter Miller, Vigor designed a new ecommerce store and checkout system that reduced the average number of pages until conversion from 6 to 3. Quicker checkouts means more sales. Furthermore, Vigor created an interactive nutritional information section, and a home page that featured videos with a representative person from each key market.
Adding the video enabled Ultima to engage the specific market with audio and visual stimulus ensuring the message was delivering.
Vigor's custom ecommerce solution featured robust analytics and reporting, coupon and discount code integration and a complex user database management feature set. All increasing productivity and capability to positively change customer service.
Ongoing, Vigor consulted on email marketing and other interactive new media marketing to help build the brand.
