Our work for Community Banks was done on spec and unfortunately the project was never continued due to budget constraints. However, the work was too good not to show.
The two parts to the spec work for Community banks were billboard design and a brochure design.
The billboards focused on one of Community Banks' key promotions—the convenience and benefit of never having to pay for checks. This convenience was illustrated by satiring the use the checks as scrap paper. Oh, the creative could go on and on with this concept...
The brochure design was developed with a bigger brand picture in mind. We developed three icons to represent all three lines of business Community Banks provides their customers. The particular icon shown represents their investment literature.
In the end, Community Banks decided on a cheaper partner for their design needs. We still stand behind the integrity of our work and believe that it would have made a much stronger impact on the market.
Note: Due to a number of speculation projects in our fledgling years, Vigor has taken a strong stance against engagin in ANY work on spec. So please do not ask.
