Harrisburg’s first truly french bistro was set to open and an identity wasn’t even started. Vigor was called to work their magic on Chef Matthew Black’s new enterprise.
The area’s only french bistro needed to make an impact quickly and be easily recognized by the market.
The Vigor creative team designed three concepts for the confit logo. Each with its own unique flavor and style. Our personal favorite was a hand rendered typographical treatment that spoke to the creative use of sauces and flavors found in the cuisine. Playful and engaging, this typographical treatment was coupled with eggplant and fresh minty greens to calm the viewer.
A more typical logo direction was demanded, and Vigor obliged. From this logo sprouted a website that allowed the restaurant’s management to update the site at any time for free.
Confit continues to receive great press and due to the refined image, has easily opened doors for its sales of fresh baked breads. The website has become a frequently used marketing tool that has attracted over 600 email subscribers.
