“Have you heard of Schnitzel?,” the voice says on the other end of the line. “Yes, it’s delicious!” we replied emphatically. “Well, we want to open a restaurant based on it. So, now what?” That was the first call with the guys from a restaurant that would become known as Seven Hens.
Challenge
Our primary challenge was to develop a concept surrounding schnitzel style chicken cutlets from restaurant name to restaurant brand identity through interiors and execution. Secondarily, we needed to introduce “schnitzel” to a public unfamiliar with it.
Solution
We immediately applied our proven restaurant branding process and over the course of six months guided the client through restaurant brand naming, identity design, web and social touch points design, marketing and the complete build out of the premier location of Seven Hens, an international chicken cutlet concept.
Results
Seven Hens opened to the public July 13th, 2012. Already the logo has been selected for inclusion in the Communication Arts 2012 Design Annual to be published September of 2012.
