The York Symphony Orchestra has been progressing its brand throughout the years. Newer, enticing designs for brochures, programs and various other marketing pieces have kept up with the times. The web site, unfortunately, had not. It was outdated, poorly coded and did not portray the true brand essence of the York Symphony Orchestra. They called Vigor...
The web steering team at the York Symphony Orchestra and the Vigor team sat down over a number of planning and strategy meetings. From these meetings Vigor discerned a series of phases that when put in effect will build buzz steadily over time. The goal is to keep a steady flow of visitors into the web site without a plateau. Additionally, Vigor set into effect the potential for creating revenue from the site in the next two years.
To increase traffic and findability, we engaged in extensive keyword research and began intial search engine optimization of the web site. The site has perfect hierarchy and its keyword count rates well with search.
Vigor launched the York Symphony Orchestra web site in late August to much acclaim. Currently the site is slowly building steady traffic. The search engines quickly picked up on the new site's architecture. The site's traffic flow continues to increase as we move into Phase 2 of the strategy.
